As always, the weekend will include Prayer and Praise, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Celebration of the Eucharist and a Healing Service.
David Mangan and Barbara, his wife of 47 years, have five adult children and eighteen grandchildren, live in Ann Arbor, Michigan and are active members of Christ the King Catholic Church. David is a graduate of Duquesne University holding a masters degree in education and is a Commissioned Lay Ecclesial Minister of the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan. David was one of the participants on the retreat in February of 1967 where events took place that are often marked as the beginning of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
David has been active in Christian education, preaching, teaching, family life seminars, bringing young people into the life of faith, healing ministry, and leadership training. He presents himself not as an “expert” on family life, but as a struggling father, doing his best to raise his own kids and grandkids for God. The workshops are entertaining and practical, giving real help and hope.
David’s latest book is “God Loves You and there’s nothing you can do about it.” He also co-authored the book entitled “Life in the Spirit for Your Kids.”
David is a member of the Renewal Ministries team which is a group of Catholic men and women dedicated to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. He has served in Catholic and Christian education for over 50 years as a teacher and administrator.
