Meditation is an ancient practice that embraces spiritual and personal development. It is centered around focusing your attention on clearing the mind of overcrowded thoughts with the intended purpose of increased well-being. Many people use meditation as a way to become more present and mindful, clarify their deepest desires, connect to a spirituality greater than themselves, and cultivate a deeper sense of gratitude for their surroundings and existence.
Enjoy meditation and yoga (floor and chair will be available) in a beautiful and supportive environment where you are free to discover and restore yourself. Through a range of mind-body practices, group discussion, personal reflection journaling, healing circle, yoga, meditation, and labyrinth walks, you will learn how to use specific practices to create greater clarity and satisfaction, and enrich your personal health and happiness.
What should you bring on retreat? Bring as little as possible. Don’t bog yourself down with a lot of stuff. Wear and pack comfortable clothes that you can layer. Bring a yoga mat. If you don’t have one, we have a few you can borrow. A large pillow(s) will make sitting on the floor more comfortable. Sitting on the floor for meditation is optional but most people find it very comfortable.
All-inclusive cost: $220
If you are a beginning meditator, you can learn the basics of meditation and receive your primordial sound mantra to use during meditation on July 26 at 5 pm. Cost for mantra is $30.
