Being Missionaries to our own Children – Passing on our Faith in a Secular Age
Until very recently, the churches in the USA were sending missionaries to foreign lands, Africa, Latin America, and Asia, but today the toughest missionary task in the whole world is to evangelize our own children. The real missionary task today is at home. How does one be a missionary in St. Louis, Washington, Lase Vegas, Vancouver, Manhattan, and at your own family table? This workshop will examine the cultural and ecclesial roots of our present struggles with faith and the church in the secularized world and try to point to the road forward.
Join us from 9 am to 3 pm with one of our three favorite Oblates of Mary Immaculate (along with Frs. Mark and Sal), as we explore this topic that challenges so many of us and our families.
