These words from one of our guests and friends say what so many people have experienced on the holy ground of King’s House—a place of sanctuary and renewal. Every year, King’s House presents dozens of quiet retreats, days of prayer, directed retreats, book discussions, and other programs, ministering to over 2,000 people from 5 Catholic dioceses. In addition to the programs we sponsor, nearly 3,000 more host their retreat programs at our house. This vital retreat ministry continues in large part through the support of folks like you: those who’ve experienced King’s House and want others to be blessed by it, too.

For over 60 years, King’s House has remained faithful to its retreat ministry in the Midwest. The age of our facilities and the rising expenses of hosting our programs have resulted in a deficit spending situation in recent years. While the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, United States Province continue to support our ministry, we need to create new opportunities for a sustainable future for King’s House.
