New Year’s Eve Retreat: : “2021– Thy Will Be Done: Breaking Through Walls in the New Year”
December 31, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - January 1, 2021 @ 6:00 pm$100.00
As we gather on December 31st we will begin to look back on the year now past, and look forward to the year that lies ahead, and as we do so, take stock of what baggage we take with us into the New Year. What might we find helpful to bring along, and what might hold us back and needs to be let go of?
We will also consider what walls or obstacles we may be facing in our journey into the New Year, and how might God be helping us to break through such barriers.
We will be using an image from the artist/priest Fr. Sieger Köder to guide us in our imaginative and prayerful consideration of this theme, as we seek to enter 2021 with the prayer “Thy will be done…” on our lips and in our hearts.
Retreat will be presented by Fr. Mark Dean, OMI
Our retreat time will include presentations, silent prayer, liturgies, and group sharing, as well as nurturing meals and beautiful grounds.
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
